Princeton Review?!

I was wondering if Princeton Review is a good SAT Prep Course?

So-so.

I found it to be very helpful. It was able to take me from an 1810 up to 2200. Make sure you get the Ultimate coaching though - it has the most class time and practice tests, I think.

if you have the resources, pay for their best people. If not, get the book

If you are above average student who can sit & study on a regular basis then Princeton Review classes are not useful. at all. $800 is a waste. They use college students to teach (this was in central NJ) with minimal training. Weak to non-existent teaching of Science & Writing sections. Same tips & tricks from book repeated. If you want to waste some money get the $400 TestPrep online classes where at least you “waste” $400 instead of $800 here. Even TestPrep is equally bad as per my friend. Go with the different books available & Real ACT (red book) gives the real tests for practice. TestPrep website has some suggestions for Reading, Math & Science specific books for above average students - these are actually good (not sold by TestPrep company). The book sold by Princeton Review is OK for practicing tests. McGrawHill 500 Science Test questions is ok to good - good practice of different types of science questions.
