Got the email. Can’t believe that there will be four more days until decisions!
I think the server will be down at 2 so that Princeton can input all of our decisions before releasing them. I’m so scared right now; just receiving the decision date email is making me super nervous.
Also, I still have received no confirmation for my tax forms. I really hope that it isn’t a bad thing…
@azwu331 Neither have I, but I don’t think it’s something to fret about. Remember, the financial aid office is separate from the admissions office so I think you’re reading too much into it
@azwu331 I received confirmation today but only because I emailed them first asking about it… I was worried that maybe they never got my forms after seeing that some others received confirmations so I just sent them a quick email asking about it :—))) ~:>
So I talked to my GC today and she told me that Princeton called asking for first quarter grades 3 days ago. Anyone have any idea what this may mean? I know some people suspected that, at this point, they’ve likely made decisions and are now putting together financial aid packages, but apparently they were still making final decisions the beginning of this week. My GC thinks that it’s a “good sign,” but I’m not so sure. I think maybe they needed to cut a couple more kids, and decided to look at first quarter grade performance to aid in making the last few cuts before admission decisions are finalized? At least my quarter grades were all solid though.
@ALibertarian and you were the one missing forms who didn’t get the W2 email, right? If so I think that puts to rest the idea that it has any implication for admission once and for all
@Waiting2exhale only registration will be down. You can log in (unless they crash) but you won’t be able to create a new account.
@czarpeter if I remember correctly from last year, once you log in it pops up. However, it took me a good 30min of waiting for it to load last year for both early and regular decisions (I got deferred early)
Early action applicants may view decisions online beginning Dec. 16 after 3 p.m. EST.
The address for Princeton’s Application Tracking System to view your decision is https://notify.princeton.edu/. Please enter the username and password you created when you registered earlier for the site. You may wish to bookmark this link ahead of time. Be sure to copy and paste the entire link, and note that it begins with https, rather than http. When you have finished viewing your decision online, be certain to close your browser.
If you have not already registered for the site, please go to https://admissionapp.princeton.edu/uarcd/ to create a username and password. Please be advised that due to the large number of students we anticipate visiting the Application Tracking System site, the registration system will be unavailable from 2 to 3:30 p.m. EST on Dec. 16.
You also may inquire about your decision by calling our office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST beginning Dec. 18.
@ughcollege1432 judging by last year’s thread, the first person to post their results posted at 2:03 central, so 3:03 EST. it’s very possible you’ll be able to access your decision by 3:30!
@ALibertarian -would you be willing to share a little about your stats? Did your recent grades go up or down or hold the same course? Understandable if you dont want to answer but as we try to second guess what they are doing, the fact that they called about your grades is something to analyze to death!
Hey all, if you wanted to know from someone who got accepted Princeton early last year, the website crashes when you try to open it, so have your log-in credentials already input before 12:00 PM, and hit that button when it hits 12. If you see an orange tiger, you’re in!
