Princeton's "Your Voice" - Can I use two people?

The “Your Voice” asks: Using one of the themes below as a starting point, write about a person, event or experience that helped you define one of your values or in some way changed how you approach the world.
The first theme simply states “Write about a person who influenced you in a significant way.” My application is themed around education, so I want to talk about how teachers influenced my growth as a student.

My question is this: Can I write about TWO people if they both influenced me in the same way and in conjunction to each other? If I were to write about one, I don’t feel like my essay would be complete without the other. I knew these teachers both in seventh and eighth grades, one was my Japanese teacher for 7th and 8th and one was my 8th grade Physical Science teacher, and they are best friends. My conversations with them almost always included all three of us. When I went back to visit California, they both picked me up from the airport. The prompt is vague (though it is written with only the singular “person”), and I think what Princeton is looking for is mostly how I learn from and value the people with whom I interact. What are everyone’s thoughts about this?

I think it would be acceptable to write about two people in this context. I agree that Princeton is looking for how you have learned from and interacted with them. Good luck.

Thank you!

I am sure that you can make it shine in 650 words.
