<p>^^ You’re right, different models use different configurations and I don’t remember the models of HPs I had that used the single cartridge but it would have been a low cost model, but the point is that if one’s going to buy an inkjet they might want to consider buying one that has separate cartridges. Epson used that as a marketing feature and I agree with them on this point.</p>
<p>I’ve had troubles with Epson ink jets as well as the HP ones. I don’t think there’s a particular brand that’s going to sell a highly robust really cheap model that isn’t going to cost somehow.</p>
