^^^^I suppose if you like white buildings with orange roofs. Reminds me of Howard Johnson’s a little bit, albeit with a much nicer view.

^stanford <3

Good lord Stanford is beautiful!

one of the stanford pictures seems to depict some kind of church space. is there, or was there ever, a religious dimension or sponsorship to stanford?

I believe famed landscape architect, Olmsted, designed this campus, correct?

If I remember correctly from the tour, the church is non-demoninational.

Endicott is a small private 4 yr college that is absolutely gorgeous ! Right on the beach and 15 mins from Boston - It’s so beautiful- they have weddings there every Sat. from June to Oct.

Gorgeous campus.

Pepperdine has a pretty view but I’m not wild about the buildings. I like the University of San Diego (beautiful buildings and grounds) and Loyola Marymount University.

Princeton, Duke, Holy Cross, Stanford, Notre Dame.

Princeton, some parts of Yale.

The thing about Stanford is the only pictures you ever see are ones of Hoover Tower, Memorial Church, or from the Oval looking out onto that really long building with arches and stuff. Those places are absolutely gorgeous.

But then you go into the middle of campus and there are some pretty unspectacular buildings … in the quad, the dorm buildings, some random spanish-looking but plain buildings along the roads, some of the libraries … I went there 2 months ago though, so my memory might be a bit off.
