-Caltech is pretty, and it kind of reminds me of St. Augustine without the ocean.
-UofT (is that a private school? not sure) has a fantastic mix of urban feel (engineering part) and older architecture (rest of uni), with a nice view of downtown Toronto.
-Stanford is stunning IMO, and because the university owns so many acres of land (that don’t have dorms and buildings on them), it is surrounded on one side by pristine hills/countryside and on the other side (I think) has a stretch of parkland.

If by campus one includes the physical landscape, then Berry College in Georgia wins hands-down. It’s the largest and one of the loveliest campuses in the world with its own lake, mountain range, etc.

In terms of architecture and landscaping – Princeton, Agnes Scott, Bryn Mawr, Duke, and Swarthmore are beautiful.

Any Liberal Arts School in New England is going to be intensely beautiful.

Ex.

Bowdoin College
Middlebury College
Haverford College
Swathmore College

ah yes, who could forget Pennsylvania, the most beautiful state in New England.

my favorites were Amherst, Swarthmore and Vassar. University of Richmond is also really beautiful.

Want a school w/ waterfalls, lake view, bridges overlooking gorges and an area called the plantations? Cornell it is.

Want a school with majestic stone buildings built into the hillside? Go see Colgate.

Want a beautiful cohesive school where the brick used in the schools buildings has been given the schools name nationally. Welcome to Bucknell.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

( But if I had to make a choice I would say Claremont McKenna, Pepperdine, or Midd.)

Duke, Princeton, and Stanford.

I think also that someone may think a campus is drop dead beautiful and someone else may think it is very ugly. It’s your personal opinion and taste. There may be someone who hates the country and wouldn’t like the campus, but may love a beach school.

Bryn Mawr and Haverford

Bryn Mawr and Haverford

Middlebury

I thought Brown was beautiful even though the day i visited it was rainy. Maybe more of an “enchanting” vibe. However, I did visit it when I was a junior and was thinking to ED to Brown.

Also I think Pomona is beautiful. It’s as if a garden grew throughout the campus. When I visited I took several pictures of just the flowers on campus. The only thing that takes away from Pomona’s beauty is that it has streets going through it, although I don’t really mind that.

There’s just something beautiful about UPenn that has all of a sudden REALLY sparked my interest.

Those are great Penn pictures–thanks for posting. I personally think that the Penn campus is lovely–Locust Walk pulses with energy and the buildings on campus are extremely attractive. I also like Princeton, Williams (particularly when you enter from Rte. 2), Wash U. and Colgate (gorgeous campus).

I like Middlebury, Princeton, Dartmouth, Duke, and Colby

Most beautiful:

Princeton, Duke, Dartmouth, Georgetown, and some parts of Yale

Nice/Average:

Indiana, Maryland-College Park, Colby, Middlebury, Williams, Bowdoin (although not everyone will like it - there are a ton of trees)

Unappealing:

Brown, Wesleyan, GW, American, NYU, Penn, Johns Hopkins

IMO, Wagner College has the best campus, and nowhere else even comes remotely close.

there is already a really long thread about this…just sayin

please provide the link

Most: Dartmouth, Cornell, Haverford, Swarthmore, Wellesley
Less: U. Penn., Stanford, JHU and Georgetown (too many buildings on too small a campus)
