Im a sophomore in highschool right now and im planning to go to community college for 2 years then transfer to UC. what is the whole process of that? should i worry about gpa or ap classes? im trying to transfer to UCSD, Cal Poly, UCI, or UCR. what should i do?

You could get into UCSD without having to transfer if you can keep an UCGPA of ~3.9-4.1 and 2000+ on the SAT…

well tats the thing, im not planning on taking SAT. im just gonna try to focus on getting 4.0 gpa all regs in sophomore n junior year.

You get into a CC with basically any GPA…if you have AP’s they’ll probably snap you up without another thought. What really matters is your time during CC. You need to remember to really do well and get a good GPA and finish all the GE’s and requirements for your intended major (don’t forget your ECs and volunteer though!). If you do all those things, you should be able to get into the UC you want to go to without a problem.
