I'm curious, why did you guys start writing your essay on the last day? It can't be just sheer procrastination. You guys all seem to really care about getting into Penn, yet you don't seem to care enough to do one of the most important thing that can make or break your chances, essay.

Hmm, the site seems really slow - I'm trying to reupload my essay after noticing a format error in print preview. grr.

procrastination is a terrible thing
yet sadly i am its vicitm

I wrote one Penn essay friday, and the other this morning

Its somewhat procrastination, but moreso that I was forced to leave all applications for Xmas break (lots of hw in class leading up to break). And since it is break, Im not spending all the time doing work.

But seriously, read my essay, and you'll kno I ABSOLUTELY do my best work under pressure. When I have time before a deadline I just waste it staring at prompts. I don't need weeks of editing. My essays are golden.

i'll read it, if you say so. and i can testify to the rest of them whether you speak the truth =)

maybe I'll release it after the deadline!

who wants to read my essays now??? Im only going to do an essay swap, its after the deadline anyways. Tought it would be cool to read each other

I'll swap with you. I'm curious to see an actual essay that was cranked out under pressure. I only thought they were in myths.

It is true that some people work best under pressure. And have you seen those crazily long and elaborate SAT essay samples? The author managed to crank it out within 25mins of time pressure.

its not that we procrastinators enjoy working under pressure, since its really nervewracking, its just that its what we HAVE to do
