wait...did you guys get a dorm request sheet or something? if not, when do we get all that stuff? i got in ED and i didn't get any of it.

All the housing, etc. will be mailed out in May.

hey bec:)

o, i thought ed acceptees get a preference over the housing earlier on...

im just going by what the website says...i dont about ED preference. I think i'll call them on Monday and let you guys know.

cool...thanks

hey jersh, u in nj?

rochester NY

ook....so according to the ResLife office, ED applicants have a preference as far as choosing where they want to live (SueB, Hoeing etc) where as RD applicants are randomly assigned to one of the buildings. As far as rooms go, the lady said that a computer randomly assigns all the applicants based on their preferences (non-smoking...etc) All of the applicants will receive the housing packet at the same time. So the only difference b/w ED and RD is the choice to choose the building you want to be in...

Ohh...Thanks for the info jersh! hmm...let's see, do i want more room or more food...i think i'll go with more room lol...that's what i heard was the comparison between gilbert and sue b. in that case i would prolly pick gilbert...any other input?

i have a friend who's in sue b who loves it because it's a big dorm and it's all freshmen, and most of the freshmen live there, so if you live in another dorm you might be closed off. but she hasn't lived in the other dorms, so that's just one opinion.

u should take a look at the link jersh put up in the other thread--i think it's housing or something...there are some nice pics of sue b and gilbert

i'm a freshman at UR living in gilbert...i might be biased, but i believe gilbert is the way to go ;) the bathrooms are the best from what i hear and the rooms are easy to rearrange because the furniture is not built into the wall like in sue b. everyone i have met in sue b has liked it but the second i take them to my room the first thing out of their mouth is "wow, it's big". everyone else in gilbert loves it and talks about how they made the "right choice". just some thoughts, shoot any questions you might have my way.

hmm that's good...i think i may be picking gilbert...how far is each from the tennis courts (indoor/outdoor)as well as the weight room...planning to stay in shape...hey lax, can i see a pic of ur room if u don't mind...

so who's procrastinating senior year? and how bad...umm severe do u rank it from a scale from 1-10?

Mine: 8! lol i'm not extreme, at least yet...

lax, gilbert and hoeing are identical, right?

pshh.. procrastination

i'm very very ashamed to say that im roughly at a 1 or 2. im about to start a paper 2 days early.. what's wrong with me?

haha same, got my ap chem final paper which is 30% of my final grade gah....

Well, if 10 is the worst, I'm probably at a 9 right now. This is by far my worst semester ever. I'm getting a C- in precalculus, and I just don't feel like working anymore.

interesting.. looking at my IB class (as these are the only ppl i see in school, yes, i know that's sad), the people that didn't slack before are all just as productive and anti-procrastination as before, while the people who's seniour slump started in their freshmen year are still slacking (surprise!)

and i welcome myself to the 'member' club.. yay 300th post

This is true.
I've been slacking since second semester of freshman year or so.
