Hey guys, just wanted to chill out here, UPenn had their own procrastinatino station, so i thought it would be cool to have one for U of R!!

sup guys...what's goin on, chillin out on sunday night...doin nothing productive...

how's everyone doin? any rochester acceptees?

28 views and no replies...someone...add to this thread...

nothing yet. What's this school known for besides biology and music? :-o

optical engineering? politcial science?.. i think.

Rochester's my first choice, and I'm currently agonizing over whether I should change my app from RD to ED II.

I also hate homework and propose that there ought to be some sort of law against making second semester seniors do it.

Just to inspire conversation (and distract me further from my work): Where's everyone from? What do you want to major in?

I'm from North Dakota, I'm planning to double major in linguistics and philosophy and minor in computer science.

hi, i would change ur app from rd to ed2, it saves you a lot of stress in waiting for all the other colleges. idk if the deadline's over already. i changed it and i got in. they may want more ppl to go ed. I'm from south jersey. i'm going to major in chem and maybe minor in business. yeah seriously, there should be no homework or tests or any unecessary work for second semester seniors as u said...

I'm still not done with anything.

I think I will switch to ED II. I'm tired of waiting.

you should...good luck...

Someone should post so I'm entertained--I had my wisdom teeth removed this morning and my face hurts.

I got my wisdom teeth removed tuesday. Still swelling. w00t.

I'm from New York City and I applied for Comp Sci. I might minor in something. (no idea yet) but I will definitely take some Russian/Chinese courses.

Already got accepted into UIUC.

i should be working on my world litt.....

Rochester's my second choice :D....dunno what ill major in yet though....maybe political sciences... I want to do medicine afterwards though

Im dutch/peruvian but live in France

Rochester is like my 5th/6th choice :. I heard they have a very low yield rate.

aww that sux...i've heard lots about wisdom teeth being pulled. a friend of mine had to skip school cause he had to take painkillers and some of them had (narcotics? or some kind of drug) so he had to stay at home for like a week. scary...hopefully i don't end up getting them pulled. but ppl say some never have to get em pulled, and some say that if you have braces you are more likely to have to get them pulled. i can't stand braces as it is,and getting wisdom teeth pulled is just scary...

UoR definitely comes under the very-selective category - at least according to the US news rankings.

Rochester also has one of the best psychology departments... The whole social science department is very good...
divonne, what else are you considering? Because you mentioned medicine and political science... I don't think I can tell you any other school where those two go together so well...

Yeah, I thought getting my wisdom teeth out would be really fun--I was looking forward to missing school to watch TV and eat popsicles--but it's actually really terrible.
I'm also really itchy--it's a side effect of one of the painkillers I'm on.
And I'm really hungry.

Does anyone know anything about an Accepted Students Weekend in April? I'm going to be visiting like the last week or so, and it would be sweet if it happened to coincide.

hmmm.. munkeegirl, russian courses sound fun (im from russia, so heavily biased, but shhh)

im from the suburbs of philly, rochester has become my first choice, aaaand im going to major in chem. fun stuff.

hahah, i was really hungry too!! and i had to find like some soft food so i can chew v. v. slowly.
