Professor recommendations?

I’ll be registering for classes soon and would like advice regarding professors (which to take, which to avoid) in the following classes:

Intro geology
Theology/Catholicism
Writing Seminar
Spanish
Calculus
Biology
Music

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

i will be as well… however you might want to check out RateMyProfessors.com thats usually a pretty legit source to check out… it was accurate for the professors I had at my last school

Well first off BC has its own version of rate my professors. Go to ugbc.org and click on the link for PEPs. But here’s my two cents:

Intro geology- No idea
Theology/Catholicism- If you can get in, I urge you to take The Religious Quest. Phenomenal course, my favorite. Catherine Cornille was a fantastic professor, but I have also heard great things about the professor who teaches the Buddhism version of that course. I don’t know about the intro to Catholicism courses at all.
Writing Seminar- Wecker or Defusco seem to get rave reviews.
Spanish- You can’t choose your professor for Spanish, you get who get.
Calculus- Check PEPs
Biology- Check PEPs
Music- Check PEPs

Another thing to keep in mind is that you can always change it around after classes start, and you usually can get into a lot of things then. I got into The Religious Quest during the drop/add period last year.
