<p>For those you of you don't read the Smith Alumnae Quarterly and to prospective students, I thought this article would be of interest about a remarkable young woman who, in my opinion, personifies the strength, determination, leadership and self-confidence so indicative of Smith women. It’s refreshing to witness a young woman willing to stand by her convictions instead taking the easy road and flowing with the crowd.</p>
<p>The article could just as easily have been about Ms. LeBlanc running as a Democrat in a Republican district. Her party affiliation is irrelevant—no cat or dog fights, as the case may be ;)</p>
