Actually in quite a few. The full name of the school is: Iowa State University of Science and Technology.

They have a strong Engineering program, with one of the largest recruitment fairs in the US. Internationally known program in Fashion Merchandising and also Design.

They have a great Athletic Training program that is very highly thought of. Vet Med, Pre Vet, Farm animal med all highly regarded.

Business School uses no adjuncts for teaching and prides itself on the small class sizes.

I know that there a few others that I am missing, but these are just the ones that I have come in contact w/ during my D’s time here.

What is your major? What are you looking for? Have found them to be generous with aid compared to other schools also.

I am looking into business and they gave me enough aid to bring it down to almost the same price as the university of Minnesota, which is the in state school I was also considering

Can’t remember which, but WSJ or Forbes just had an article listing Iowa State MBA program as one of the top 10 for graduates being employed after graduation. Their business program undergrad also does not use TA’s for teaching. They are very proud of the fact that professors teach all business school classes.

It is a special place! Good Luck-

The business department has a very nice building and facilities too!
