<p>hiii so my senior prom is this year and i want to go but then i dont want to go. i will most likely not have a date but i dont really care. i wanna go with a couple of my best friends but they dont really wanna go. i never get dressed up for anything and i feel like if i dont go i will regret it. i didnt go to junior prom so i feel like i should go to senior prom.</p>

<p>I think you should go, regardless of whether you have a date or not… you can still have a good time. It’s your senior year so enjoy it and take advantage of all these things because you may end up regret not going!</p>
<p>I would go, just for the opportunity to dress up. So many pretty dresses that could only really be worn to prom. In other situations you’d just look silly.</p>

<p>Definitely force your friends to go. Kidnap them, if you have to. Everyone will be doing their own thing, so you guys shouldn’t feel weird about not having dates. </p>

<p>go. Don’t miss this golden opportunity and get a few friends without dates that are willing to go, otherwise it would just be lonely for you. having a date is not necessary btw. my girls and i are going this year; the guys in my school are epic fail.</p>
<p>@yankeesgirl, you should definitely go. If you really want a date, then just ask a guy friend. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind or would not find it weird (if he’s single).</p>
<p>Also, as others said, being a girl it’s not that bad if you don’t have date. Last year, my cousin’s boyfriend was in college so had her best friend (female) as her “date” and no one looked at them two like they were weird.</p>
<p>There are some guys at my school who go in groups. They get pity dances.</p>
<p>If anything and you’re a guy w/o a date but want to go, go by yourself, provided you have some friends that will be there too</p>
