<p>Website says early applicants will be notified by April 1 (today), but it’s possible to be deferred to regular. Does anyone know if they will notify you if you are deferred through email? I know this system is new this year. </p>
<p>If they don’t have problems with the system I think it would be appropriate that they notify if we were deferred. People who apply to early for college get notification for deferment on the notification date. </p>

<p>Does anyone know whether the PROMYS admission team frowns upon computer programming? I’ve solved 6 of the quiz questions so far, but I used Java for 3 of them. For question 8, for example, this was basically cheating.</p>
