Proof of Graduation?

What exactly do we send? I had my school send a final transcript which they stamp saying they are the final grades.

That's all the proof they need right? Do I need to send my HS diploma or something?

I don't get that until mid june (I'm an early grad, so my grades are final).

I sent the transcripts like two weeks ago (from California), and I'de assume they would've received them by now.

...I know this board is set up to help people but please, don't use this as a crutch.

A few steps one should take before relying on the boards:

1) use common sense, if that fails

2) call or email whomever takes care of the topic in question. If THAT fails,

3) post on this board, for the help/advice of others who have gone or are going through a similar situation.

These steps should always be followed when dealing with things that are of immediate academic nature (i.e. who do I talk to about my transcript? How long can my grades go before I lose my offer?).

Things that I can easily understand as confusing include (but aren't limited to) immigration paper work, and financial aid.

That fact that I can near track every stage you've been throughout the admission process, by your posts alone, makes me wonder if diapers might need to be included in things you need to bring up with you here.

That last sentence may have seemed harsh (probably because it was), however you need to realize what it's in response to..."What do we send [to prove that we graduated]?" The following is a narrative of what I would've done, if I ever wondered the stated question.

At first glance, I would assume that McGill probably wants something from my school, not from me (something from me wouldn't be very official, now would it?). Then I'd think, "what can my school send?" Perhaps you'd think a personalized letter attesting to your graduated status, but greater common sense would kick back in, and another great assumption would be made: you probably aren't the only person McGill wants proof of graduation from. This must mean that this demand is standardized, and involves a fairly well known exchange of documentation between your high school and McGill. This final thought kills our "personalized letter" theory, and we think about the only other thing your schools been sending our this entire time: your transcript.

Still living in uncertainty because you can't trust yourself, you turn for guidance. Who would be the best person to ask, you wonder? The layman, who hasn't made a second home on the c.c. boards, would think, "I should probably just call the admissions office...that should easily clear things up". Not being so cheap that you can't kill a dollar on a long distance phone call, you make the call to the admissions office, and within a given interval any where from 5 - 30 minutes, you instantly get the closure you need. Your assumption was right; They do, indeed, want a final transcript noting your new status as a graduate.

Some where along the way my "I" became a "you" and a "we/our". Whatever, you get the idea. Common sense and a dollar or two, a) saves your internet integrity and b) more importantly, properly answers your question the first time around.

I didnt send anything. My school did.

You don't send the high school diploma lmao
Only the final transcript. Check Minerva to make sure it's been updated, if not phone or email the Registrar Office.
