<p>Congrats to the Amherst College alpha of Chi Psi fraternity. They were selected the top alpha at this year’s annual convention in Ann Arbor, MI. For their accomplishments they received the prestigious Thayer Trophy. </p>
<p>The Amherst Alpha was cited for their high GPA, their involvement with alumni, and a commitment to community service and their dedication to helping others in and around the greater Amherst community.</p>
<p>Richard Wilbur, two time recipient of the Pulitzer prize for poetry and current Faculty Emeritus at Amherst College, was a member of the Chi Psi fraternity during his undergraduate years at Amherst College. </p>
<p>I am not a member of Chi Psi but I am friends with many of the guys who are members of this fraternity. I have never met a better group of guys who really care about other people and strive to make our community a much better environment to live, work and study. </p>
