Chance me for Amherst ED

There’s a couple more leadership roles that I haven’t put on that profile, all in clubs I’m currently involved in.

Amherst is definitely my first choice, and so I’d love some feedback.

Thanks!

Your SAT II Subject Tests are somewhat weak relative to your very impressive GPA.

Your extracurriculars are solid. I do want to comment though: it looks like you have a very tough list of colleges there. Have you considered safety schools?

Don't go by the application tracker.....If you want to go ED, apply. Make sure you spend time on your essays and see if you can take another couple of SAT 2's and get >700.

My rationale for not retaking SATIIs is that my 690 in Bio M is so close to 700. I understand that it looks worse to have a score in the 600s, but it's not really worth it time- and money-wise to me to bump it up 10 points. Do you think this would be an okay reason?

Also, yeah, I have safety schools (even ones I'd like to go to), but I'm not worried about my chances at them :D

Thanks for the feedback!

IMHO - I wouldn't put Bronze Award down - it's a long time ago and not that big a deal. Many junior troops do it as a group, so it doesn't particularly demonstrate leadership and commitment. If you've stayed in scouting through cadettes and seniors, then that shows commitment (although it begs the question about Silver and Gold Awards). I advise my troop to put Silver down if they did it in their freshman year, but not if it was completed in middle school.

Yeah, I wasn't planning to put that down, since Girl Scouts didn't really work out for me through high school.
