-less expensive (in-state)
-international reputation for research
-academic excellence in almost all disciplines</p>

-undergrad maybe not as good as grad programs
-very large, perhaps bureaucratic and impersonal
-large class sizes
-reputation for cut-throat competition</p>
<p>pros:
-it’s in ca, pretty close to san francisco i think, which is awesome
-ranked one of the best public schools in the country</p>
<p>cons:
-very expensive out-of-state (i think it’s 45 including room and board)</p>
<p>pros:
-nice weather.
-THE highest-ranked public school in the US
-many class choices
-many activities
-fairly diverse
-lots of resources</p>

-big.
-undergrad not as good as grad programs
-harder to interact with profs in some classes
-big greek scene (unless you’re into that)</p>
