Pros v. Cons @ Princeton

lol........-.-

maybe butlers are the codeword for petrol sniffers ... are there petrol sniffer's at princeton???

i think petrol sniffers would count as a con. as would grad-only butlers

see, that wasn't hard, now was it guys. two cons, and we haven't even started thinking yet.

I assume you guys are kidding and you do all know that Butler is a residential college...Zante knows only too well:)

Is Butler that ugly for it to be considered a Con of Princeton?

It has been the ugliest of the colleges. The good news? a) It now includes a dorm called Bloomberg, which is only 2 years old, has bamboo hardwood floors, air conditioning, and freshmen and sophomores get singles b) They are knocking the rest of it down when Whitman (the new dorms now being built and donated by Meg Whitman '77 CEO of eBay) are ready.

I was class of '78, so the cons of those days are long gone. My D just started and is on Outdoor Action hiking in New York right now, so so far no cons:) beyond personal preferences. For example, if you want to be in a big city, wrong place for that...

The eating clubs have traditionally been a pro for some, a con for others. Depends on your social preferences. In any case, the administration is making the residential colleges available in the next couple of years for 4-year stays, which will encourage the role of the clubs in campus life to diminish.

fine. another con: no butlers. whats the point of going to an elite institution if there aren't butlers? I hear HARVARD has butlers....

(j/k, please dont yell at me)
