I have always been interested in law and was originally attracted to corporate by money. Recently i am becoming more interested in prosecution. What kind of salaries do prosecutors make? Any other info about that area of law would be great

It varies from city to city, but it is far less than corporate or civil lawfirm jobs

buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuump

Yank, instead of bumping, why don't you do a little research online. For example, a beginning Public Defender in Orange County will earn approximately $60,000 a year. DAs and PDs are generally paid the same.

Please do not bump again,

Salary Information from an official website.

" AUSA pay is administratively determined based, in part, on the number of years of professional attorney experience. The range of basic pay is $43,200 to $112,400 plus locality pay where authorized."

I may be out of date..but..in the old days, you needed two years of experience to get hired as an assistant US attorney (a federal prosecutor). A clerkship sufficed. There are SOME law firms that will pay you a "bonus" for the # of years of prosecutorial experience you have before you join them.
