as a chem-e major...will i be fulfilling premed course requieremnts?

Is there such a thing as premed course requirements? I thought that there were only "recomended classes".

oh well yea that what i mean

the premed requirements aren't much to begin with: intro bio, gen chem, orgo, physics, engl, calc, stats so it wouldn't be difficult to complete them although I'm sure chem eng. will cover most of that.

ChemE won't fulfill most of them.

lol aloe do you go to cornell cause norcal guy does and if you both do who do i beileve

The ChemE major includes classes like Chem 207-208 (gen chem), Chem 357 (1st semester orgo), Chem 251 (orgo lab), and more math and physics than you'd care for. In addition, you must complete a bio elective (intro bio is acceptable) as well as advanced bio elective (this is an opportunity to take biochem). Your writing seminars (particularly if they're in the Engl department) are usually acceptable for English credit so outside of a stats class or a bio class, I don't see a ChemE major as having to go too much out of their way to do premed.

Edit: Taken from a sample schedule for a Chem Eng. major from the Courses of Study Cornell site online.

k lol and for the record i love math/physics =)
