do graduates get good jobs in the finance sector (ibanking, consulting etc.) after graduating from mt holyoke? I've often heard that if you're not from one of the "target schools" hypms its very hard to break into the industry. I'm interested in a finance job but it seems like mt holyoke is more for the non-profit inclined types? Also, I'm an international student and mt holyoke is practically unknown back in my country (in asia). I'm wondering if i should still apply. thoughts?

The best way to find out is by emailing the college, and asking them what their placement rates are in the fields you’re interested in. Their page says they “welcome your calls, emails, faxes, and letters.” They can be reached at:

As for being unknown, Mt. Holyoke has as an excellent reputation for strong academics here in the eastern US. International students make up 20% of the population at MH, coming from more than 70 counties.

I hope this helps!
