My niece who is currently a freshman there gave them 1 semester grades to try to get a merit scholarship after not receiving one - she was at a 4.0 and they still didn’t budge.
My understanding is that PC determines merit based on class rigor. They use a point system and each applicant is assigned a rigor score.

My DS does not have a 4.0 (more like 3.9) but takes the hardest course load possible and got merit.

anyone know the predicted release date for regular decisions 2022 for providence?
I think it was 3/15 last year? So maybe around same time?
They just sent an email. Will be the evening of the 14th.
