Hey I'm planning on getting the PR's Cracking the ACT book. Thing is tht I'm studying really early honestly (early as in a couple years early). I noticed that the book was a 2010 edition, but will it change in 2011? Like the true material etc.? Or can it work until a while?

Will change very little -I think. There’s really nothing new to add. PR will probably won’t change the strategy sections; they’ll have new practice tests though.
From my experience PR is great for English and Math but works terrible for Reading and Science, so couple your studying with another company’s book.

Well I’m still really a freshmen now so I thought I might as well get a decent grasp on it. Yeah I figured that the only new edition to it would be different tests.
I’m guessing the same goes for Cracking the SAT?

Any1 on the Cracking the SAT changes? Same as ACT?

gigidy bump…

Review books hardly change at all when 5 years go by. 1 year is going to make no difference at all. Most often the format changes a little, but the material is the same. A perfect example is a 2003 AP review book I bought for 50 cents at the library. I put it right next to a current one from the same company and it was like looking at the same book. A few format changes had been made, but it was essentially the same thing. The same would apply for any ACT or SAT book I would imagine.
