I know you are all freaking out about the answers, and so was I a week ago, but you’ve got to get over it. It is done now so relax. Plus, most of us have APs and extracurriculars to focus on so don’t let this bother you too much.

I was just wondering, have there been other administered PSAT tests over the years that have had such hotly debated questions?

I mean, we still can’t reach a consensus on so many questions!

^some… I reviewed the PSAT questions before taking the real one and i found maybe 2-3 questions “debatable”; however, i only thought so b/c i was lacking in my knowledge of some grammar rules. Every answer had a concrete reason, i thought.

^ HEY I’M FROM NEW JERSEY TOO!
ha, just wanted to say that.

anywho, scores… come out soon… aka my death T_______T

Hey might as well bump this thread up since the Saturday thread was bumped as well. If people have gotten their scores back, please post information regarding them (for example: disdain/resentment).

I knew well that debating about PSAT answers was just useless, but my friend has just received her scores. Through collegeboard website, I learned that collegeboard’s preferred choice of answer was: halcyon/onerous.

I read their reasoning behind why feckless/tedious was wrong, but I am still not convinced. Sigh… This is why I really hate standardized exams with passion. They award people who are simply more well-trained to answer questions the way the company thinks while those who simply know too much or think differently are punished.

The only section I care about getting 80 is in math, where answers are not so debatable at all.

I want my scores soooooooooo badlyyyyyyyyyy
anyone in minnesota gotten them yet?
