Psat 2004

Where is the College board sample for it? I don't see it on their website.

Go to the PSAT "What's on the test" section. It lists each type of question, and if you click on one it takes you to a page with numbered boxes at the top. Click on "start" and it will give you one question at a time. That's the best I could find. I don't see anything like a practice test all in one place.

My school didn't give me a Bulletin. They suck! Maybe I'll get one tomorrow, by chance. Fortunately i have review books.

If you want a full practice test from the CB, go to your school's college counseling office and ask them for the "Taking the PSAT" packet (or whatever it's called). They should have that, which has a full test in it.

If they don't have that, either buy a practice book or use the questions online.

Does anyone have any advice to succeed on the PSAT critical reading sections? They really seem to be my largest trouble spot, mainly because of the shorter amount of time. 25 minutes for ~8 sentence completion questions and two reading passages, one of which is likely to take up an entire page (a la CB's practice PSAT booklet), really makes it hard on me.

Does anyone know of any particular methods/tricks that one should use to use his time the most efficiently? I usually like to read the passages first, then do those questions, and then do the sentence completion questions... but I don't think that will fly on the PSAT.

I'm in PA, so I need a 215 or higher to enter the NMS competition. I'm hoping for a 70 in verbal...if I can ever get there! lol

MANY thanks for any advice that you may have to share.
