PSAT October 12th

HELP!

Does anyone have advice on PSAT?? Any helpful books I can read?
Math tips?? I'm beginning to panic about the test now :(
The problem with these questions is not that they're hard, but it's that there's not enough time to complete the test, especially when it comes to math.
Does anyone have any tips on time management in relation to the PSAT??

If your a junior and you’re this concerned you should have started studying a long time ago. Time management is not the problem with the PSAT trust me.

I transfered to an American school - we didn’t have any use for PSAT’s in my last school so it’s not that I’m negligent of my responsibilities as a student - it’s just that I have to take them now that I’m in an American school…

Any advice? Have you taken the PSAT before?

Advice is study from SAT prep books. The PSAT is like the SAT but only easier. So basically mastering an SAT prep book should really help you out on the PSAT =)

The PSAT isn’t easier it’s just shorter. Try the questing if the day on the college board website for practice each day.

Thank you coolapple1… I’ve been researching on the test and it really gets to me that it’s an aptitude test…
Nevertheless, I’ve been doing the questions on the College Board website, strat94 - thank you for that.
I’m doing the test soon, and I’m hoping to have done enough practice to achieve at least a 200/240 by then, or better :)

I suggest picking up a book from either Princeton Review or Barron’s on the PSAT. Even though you only have a couple of days to study, getting a good preview of testing material will help tremendously.
