Was it 12x for the question that involved 4 equilateral triangles and one square?

Scores in early December.

I think the only one still in debate is the thieves one. I might bring back another one though…the one about how Mo was minimizing Duncan’s ability as a teacher.

Can you minimize an ability? Shouldn’t it be undermine or something more along those lines? I put the shrewd character one because I eliminated all the other ones.

Plus, nothing in the first 3 sentences shows that Mo doesn’t like Duncan. The 3 sentences do show that he thinks shrewdly of the students character/attitude.

Was it a simile or a personification i the lines

“the man’s hairs stood up LIKE porcupine quills…pulling at the shirt”
i was so stuck.

i put simile in the end because i thought it was a pretty direct comparison between the hairs and the quills and “like” was used.
but then again…the pulling at the shirt wanted me to put personification

x < y < 0 is under debate.

People are disagreeing over whether III was (x/y) < 0 or (x/y) > 0. I thought it was the first, and I sincerely hope it was.
Some people also say that the answer was I, II, and III even though I don’t even think that was a possible answer.

right now I’m at -4 CR, -0 M, and -1 W

Sucks that I’m a sophomore and can’t qualify for the scholarship :’(

@youaregolden,

I’m pretty sure it’s simile.

@Overide,

Isn’t it x/y>1 …?

are you kidding?! you’re so lucky you have another year for that literally, once in a lifetime shot at the NMS

and the thief one is no error- had shrunk is correct (dang it!)

I’m positive it was x/y>0

I’m almost 100% sure that the one about the x and the y was choices I, II, and III.

@youaregolden. It was both. That was another I II III question.

spkrap322,

The original one in the question however was “has shrunk”. I’m like positive on this one…

biovaball it was definitely x/y>1

For the question with the I, II, and III on the first math section. Was the answer E?

Oh yeah thats why I meant :P

loseyourself

x<y<0 1)="" x+2="" <="" y+2="" 2)???="" 3)="" x="" y="">1</y<0>

what was the second answer choice… i cant remember

@bioboy12, well “shrunk” still works…

the blah blah blah shows that the trend in the blackmarket has shrunk.

did anyone get channel for the one where the teacher wanted the students use books for?

So was the bank one for sure “you not choose”, then? It couldn’t have been “your choice should not be”?

@jeffrey i got channel as well.

So thieves, x<y<0, and add to paragraph 2, right? All others are correct?
