PSAT and SAT differences?

What are the differences between the PSAT and the SAT in terms of difficulty?
I know that the PSAT doesnt test for Algebra II, but is that it?

Are the writing questions easier on the PSAT compared to the SAT?

It would be fine if you can give an answer based on your test experiences also.

thank you!

PSAT doesn’t have SAT essay writing portion on it. The number of sections is shorter. If you studying for the PSAT, some of the best advice out there say to study for the SAT and just take the PSAT. It’s the same exam. Studying for just the PSAT is basically just studying for the SAT… in my opinion. Good luck if you’re aiming for National merit…

ohhk thanks man

are the writing questions (error ID, improv sent., improv para) easier on the PSAT than on the SAT?

The difficulty of PSAT questions is the same as the difficulty of SAT questions. The differences are algebra II, the essay, and of course the length of the exam.
