What is the major difference between the Psat and the SAT? I seriously don't know because I didn't take the PSAT in my sophomore year ( i missed it). Somebody said that the PSAT doesn't have as hard math questions? I am not sure...

Well for one thing it's shorter. I think the math questions are less difficult. There is no essay.

yes. It's sort of like a practice SAT it lets you know where you are at. Also if you do extraordibnarily well on it junior year, you can qualify to be a national merit scholar (pretty prestigious)

Length. No essay. Slightly easier questions. scores are out of 80 instead of 800 (otherwise it's scored the same).
After taking the SAT I love the PSAT and I wish I could take it again now!
