woah, woah, woah. scores have already arrived at schools?? are you sure?

Yes, my friend (in NJ) got them back and scored a 212.

ahh! there will be no end to my bugging my counselors until they arrive. it's so early, though!

sorry i can't help with your question. trust me, i wish i could!

My child's school got scores yesterday. It's a small school so handing them out was quick. I imagine some larger schools might take a day or two longer. At least one other local smallish school did not hand out scores on Friday.

OMG the scores are out early - usually schools don't get them until the first week of December.

Yes, this is really early. I wonder how long it will take my S's school to hand them out ...

When they send them out, they all go out at the same time. Plant yourself in from of GC's office first thing Monday morning (in our school the PSAT is offered to 9,10 and 11th graders).

@j'adoube: how do you know they are all sent out at the same time?

oh shoot..........

WHAT? dang it! We just started Thanksgiving break so I won't be getting mine until next week!!! I want to know sooo badly. I guess I'll have to wait until December..
Hopefully it won't take forever for them to pass them out!

Any chance it'll be online???

Wowow..really early..last year I didn't get my scores until AFTER winter break (first week of January).

sooo can people post their scores and how many they got wrong in each section so we can figure out the curve....

i haven't gotten mine back yet...so i can't help.

Our HS doesn't release the scores to students until later in December, usually a day or two before the winter break.

Are they on the website?

I'm a senior, but my sister's a junior and our school plans to give them out in late January this year.

No, I checked collegeboard.com but nothing? The MyQuickstart thing just said "you are one of the first to inquire about PSAT scores, we will send you an email once the scores are online sometime in December" or something like that...so how could you receive your scores so early?

There is no reason for the scores not to be sent to all the schools at the same time. I think the distribution of the scores has to do more with school policy. In our school they do assembly by grade (it is used as a diagnostic tool since 9th grade) to explain the results to each group. That takes time to arrange in the busy pre-Christmas break period. That doesn't mean the scores are not there.

I didn't know the PSAT scores are ever online. They weren't when my D took PSAT. S took it last year as a sophomore, and I don't remember the scores being online then, either.

OOPS ... just signed into college board site. I had no clue the scores were there! My S could even have studied from the questions he missed last year ... yeah, right. You'll notice HE is not the one posting here!! It was my older D who got me hooked on this website. S isn't concerned with his PSAT scores (me, I like the idea of the possibility of scholarships - that's why I care!).

kelsmom: I didn't even mention it because they are never online. S2 is in 10th grade, so he didn't take it officially, but how did you get the score online?

I went online and found his score from last year. I didn't know it was there! It was news to me. I signed up to get an email when this year's scores are online.
