PSAT during wkday at parochial school?

I know a Catholic school not too far from where we live at which the PSAT is administered on a weekday rather than Sat. am. This surprised me as I thought that test dates were nationally standardized. Anyway, does anyone know if generally speaking, a kid from a diff. school could register to take the PSAT then, and there? Not sure if this parochial school setup is a special arrangement. Sure would be nice to free up that busy fall Sat. morning.

They use different tests for the Wed. and Sat. sessions.
In our area, everyone tests during school on Wednesday. (Wed. and Sat. are the only days available). I think it is too late for you to register with the school now, but homeschoolers, for example, do go into public or private schools–sign up and pay for the test. Deadline to sign up is usually in early to mid Sept. If you are interested in doing this next year, call the counselors’ office as soon as school starts next Aug./Sept. to find out that particular school’s policy.

Interesting…sounds like Wed. testing is a lot more common than I’d thought. It makes sense that they would use diff. tests. Thanks for the info and suggestion.
