PSAT/NMSQT National Merit Semifinalist Scores 2011

<p>Hey I'm a junior from Indiana and I scored a 213 on the PSAT. I know that this has been the cutoff score for national merit for 2010 and 2008. Does anyone know if the score is expected to be higher this year?</p>

<p>No one but the CB has that information.</p>

<p>I recieved a 212 and was told I made the cut yesterday by our college counselor. He hasn’t handed me my letter however. 212 was the cut last year 211 the year before that.</p>

<p>When are the letters expected to arrive?</p>

<p>Ooh I got a 220, I’m exicted now!</p>

<p>You should already have the letters. They arrived in our city in the middle of last week.</p>

<p>Many schools do not distribute packets or otherwise notify until mid-September.</p>

<p>D has 215 in PA , but looks like the cut-off went up two points from last year and needed a 216 for NMS. On the plus side SAT scores 2230 and 4.0 (more if weighted) top 5% - school gives number rank only after top 5% in class of 300. Any scholarships out there for high scoring commended?</p>
