andreaaaa,

It was definitely 1/2.

I remember it was y+2x=some real number

so -2 would be the slope and 1/2x would be the slope of the perpendicular.

121 wasn't an answer choice?

GOOOD!!!

That means I got it right :)

yeah def 1/2
NEGATIVE RECIPRICUL DUDES

how bout the one where u were asked to find the area of the rectangle and triangle?

oh yeah werent the areas equal or something....

please tell me what question ur referring to

i think it was something about how the perimeters or the area of a triangle and a rectangle were equal and you had to find the perimeter or area of one of them. something like that.......i cant remember

the answer was 9 for the triangle and square. It was that 3(length of one side of triangle)=4(length of one side of square). Then it asked for the length of the side of the square.

i got it wrong cuz i put 4. me stupid

right, that was a tricky one. x=4 but the square was 2(x)+1 so 2(4)+1=9

was that triangle isoceles?

i remember a question where the figure was not drawn to scale, and then when you fixed it and drew it to scale the triangle was isoceles.....was that this problem?

ugh.... this sat...

that isosceles triangle one had its 2 base angles of 30 degrees and it asked for the degrees of the remaining angle (120), or at least I think that's how I remember it

there was another one I just thought of that had a right angle divided into 2 equal angles and another 20 degree angle, so the answer to that question was 35 degrees (measure of the other angles)

who thinks the reading section was really unfair?

I actually thought it was pretty decent and I enjoyed the passages.

Question: Is the PSAT tomorrow (Sat.) gonna be the same as the one on the 18 or 19?

The Saturday PSAT is gonna be a totally different test from the 18th.

Darn!

Was Wednesday's test hard? From what I have ( and I haven't read a lot) it seems easier than last year's test.

Was the test like the one from the Practice Test Booklet. Was the CR harder or easier?

come on, college board isn't that dumb. They would never publish two tests that are the same.

I mean the quesiton where they give u the rectangle with a right triangle on top, with a base of 5, and they ask you to find the area of the whole figure. THe answer choices were something like 27, 31, 37...
