Yeah the answer to that was 31.

(1/2)(3)(4)+(5)(5)

Yeah the answer to that was 31.

(1/2)(3)(4)+(5)(5)

yay, i wasnt sure what the height would be for the triangle.

Speaking of tommorow's psat, how is geography incorporated into the administration of the test during either saturday or wednesday?

For an example, whether certain parts of the U.S. take it on wednesday and other portions, taking it on saturday. If something like this happens, there obviously would be a difference in the score curves, as we all know that different regions get different averages

naidu: i thought the CR from wednesday was a lot harder than the CR from the practice test.......i got 78 or something on the practice test and i already know i missed about 6-7 on wednesday.

also, i got all the sentence completions right last year on wednesday and on this year's practice test....but i think i missed like 2 or something this year.

To the people who have taken the PSAT/ will be tommorow

How much did you guys prepare?

For the Wednesday PSAT, what do you think will be the curve for the following situations(this already includes number right minus .25number wrong):

CR: 42
M: 36
W: 37

BTW, please try to use concrete point values (ie 42- 70)

good luck guys taking psat tomorrow!
im taking it too

geography doesnt play a factor, i think it's just whenever the school wants to take it (during school on wednesday, or on saturday morning). For example, my GC said if I couldn't take the saturday PSAT then i could go to a close by school to take it.

I thought the reading passages were MUCH gayer than last year's.

Ya, I put a colon for the tease question btw. I know its correct cause its like defining what the tease was.

Yes, sqrt(rst) is correct. I am absolutely 100% sure of it.

To the Writing "Indonesia" Question. The answer wasn't the "suspending/suspended" was wrong. it was the subject verb agreement issue. "its" should be their. the their can refer to either the people or the masks, either way they were both plural.

What? NO way...I'm pretty sure it was suspended. Suspending has the wrong verb tense. Doesn't match the tense of the rest of the sentence.

It was suspended.

protege you combined two different writing questions into one
one question talked about islands being suspended between these two countries so "suspended" was the right answer to that question
another question described masks where the error was "it", which you probably got right

There was nothing distinctly homosexual about any of the reading passages. If you meant stupid or some other adjective, you should have said that. Gay is not a synonym for dumb or stupid. I have gay friends and that is very offensive. I'm sick of people using words like gay incorrectly..same with "retarded".

i think the reading passages were very heterosexual on the contrary

I am really unsure of the masks question.
A strong NO ERROR arguement could be made.
Some say "it" is a mistake, because the change in expression refers to the peolpe wearing teh m ast.
Others say "it" is correct, because the only expression that cahnges is the mask's expression (the singular mask of the people wearing it). The interchangable parts cahnges the expr ession of the mask.

I agree that the critical reading sections were soo much harder than last years and than the practice ones I took.

The math and the writing on the contrary seemed soo much easier.

I just spent the last 10 minutes skimming through the last 25 pages, so go easy on me if this question has been asked.

Anyone estimate a specific date in December when we'll get our scores back? For both the Oct 18th and the Oct 21st PSAT, or just one, doesn't matter.
