PSAT or SSAT

I got a 92 (CR), 94 (M), 95 (W) on the PSAT. Would this be as good as a comparable SSAT. While I understand that SSAT is taken exclusively by people wanting to go to BS, I know that most sophomores do not take it. I'm signed up for the SSAT, but is there any point (standardized test scores stop mattering after a while).

Doesn’t PSAT sectional score range from 20 to 80? Or are you talking about percentiles? If so, the population of PSAT test of SSAT are very different. There is no way to compare. What are your sclaed scores?

Percentile. I know the population is different.

Look at the scaled scores. If the total is > 210, I think you are fine without taking SSAT. Otherwise, SSAT is an option to strengthen your application.

It’s under 210, haha, that would have got me 99s. Surprisingly, I did better on the SAT a few years ago. I’m going to go with the safe option :).

That’s wise especially you have already registered for the test.
