PSAT Prep or SAT Prep

I'm going to be a junior coming into this next school year and I've decided to dedicate part of my summer for studying for the psat. I need to score above a 214 to qualify for a national merit scholarship, but I don't know what to study for. Should I study for the actual SAT and use the blue book or study solely for the psat with my princeton review book. Basically what I'm saying is if I study only for the PSAT will my SAT scores be significantly lower than those of my psat, or should I just study for the SAT and if so will my psat score back it up.

Study for the SAT and you’ll simultaneously be studying for the psat

Okay thanks! Btw, do you knonw of any excellent threads I can use that have like a rundown of books etc i should get and use because I don;t know where to start. I’ll put in any amount of hours it takes because my psat score lats year was so bad(140) and I need to bring it up above a 214(florida nmsqt score) @jellybae

study for SAT but in last couple of weeks take official PSAT practice tests or past PSAT tests only with no essay and a bit lighter maths. Take them in timed conditions and go over your mistakes.
After PSAT in Oct, put focus back on complete SAT.

thanks!
