i will be taking both in october (i am a rising junior, and my school is kind of strange with its PSAT testing times?)

im a collegeboard "newbie", so to speak, so im not that familiar with this stuff...
any help would be appreciated! (:

so a few questions:

1) is the PSAT really "easier" than the SAT?
2) is just studying for the SAT sufficient rather than prepping for both the PSAT and the SAT?
3) what are, in your opinion, the best SAT prep books?
4) is memorizing vocab words "effective"

feel free to post any other words of advice!
THANK YOUU! (:

1) No, it’s the same thing question wise. I think it’s actually harder to score higher since the test is shorter and doesn’t have a Writing Section with Essay that can help boost your score.

2) Depends on you- Take some practice tests and see how well you do and go from there

3) Haven’t really prepped for the test yet, but I would use the Blue Book for actual tests.

4) I think it is absolutely useless if you have read a decent amount of literature and have a grasp for words in general (roots, etc.). The vocab section isn’t a huge part of the CR, and I would rather spend my time doing something else than drilling words that probably won’t be on the actual test.
