Urg i still can't access my scores. I goto sign into my college board account. THen it takes me to the screen where it ask for psat year and code. I type in all that stuff from last years test and it says not enough info or something.
The thing is i did not sign up for the college quickstart thing last year, might that be the problem?

^thanks!.....

Do you think it's possible for a 213 to get it in CA?
[/Quote]
not likely

wow....229 (M 80, W 80, CR 69)...harsher curver for cr; last year i got the same number wrong and got a 72

Hmm... Nationally, I got 99th percentile across the board. In DC, I got 97, 97, 99. I received a 223 total. Do those percentiles indicate that I won't be a semifinalist in DC, even though I'm in the 99th percentile overall (says the score report I received from my school)?? ...:(

178

OW

s e r i o u s l y NOT cool. =[

psh forget it
people usually do much better on the SATs anyway
one test administration is not infallible
and you know it

don't spend too much time on these boards as you get a false impression of what's actually a score to be proud of

When do scores come back for students in Washington State? This week? Next week? Week after that?
Does anyone know the cutoff for NMSQT of Washington State this year? For year 2006 it was 219 a +3 increase from 2005. What will you predict for this year? I'm thinking at least 221!!! Seattle students are very smart.
When will we find out about the cutoff? Tell me as soon as you know.
Prompt responses appreciated!!! Thanks!

Thank you, dtran! That link worked for us on the second try. My sophomore is amazed at the curve. He only got two wrong in math and didn't answer two or three and got bumped down to a 67. Of course, tonight sitting in the office, he got all of them. Too much fun!

You will not know about the cutoffs for the PSAT taken in October 2007 until SEPTEMBER 2008. Chill... This is only a test. Resume your normal activities.

If your junior year PSAT > 225, you should make NMSF in pretty much any state in the country -- the highest score needed to qualify last year was 221.

See my post on the previous page with the link for the cutoffs for current seniors who took the PSAT last year.

i got a 201 bahhh

I wish that would work, it only has my 2006 scores, which is strange, and it says my quickstart is still un available

It also says for me that My College Quickstart is temporarily unavailable

My son had a different email when he signed up on collegeboard for the PSAT as a sophmore--it seems that when he signed up this year as a junior (w/a new email) last yr's info was overwritten. Any chance he can access this year's score's online??

Thanks!

Try this:

Log into your collegeboard account in another window while keeping this one open.

Click:

Thanks, vicarious. I emailed son that info (don't have his password, etc.). Hopefully it will work! :-)

This whole exercise has told me to chill and get a good handle on who my son is. When I found out the scores were online, I sent him a text message at school and told him that if he would send me his user name and password, I could get his scores. He replied that he didn't remember his user name or password. I asked him last night to go on the computer and play around with his "typical" user names and passwords. He did math homework instead.

He is perfectly content to find out his scores when the counsellors pass them out at school. He has the right attitude...how will it profit him to find out a few weeks earlier? His score is what it is. I need to take on his more relaxed attitude about all of this.

missy--agreed--I don't want to rush son either (better to be relaxed!). In our case, when I told son about online access, he immediately tried to find out scores & emailed his guidance counselor, also (think he's hoping he did pretty well...).

:-)

missypie I agree. our kids sometimes know better. on that note let me get off c.c and attend to my real work.

Ag54 - My son's PSAT score was viewable as of last night (Dec.3) on the college board site and he is a sophmore. Your guidance counselor's are not correct.
