Sorry to waste space but I promise I used the search button, looked for 20 minutes and couldnt find confirmation on the Texas cutoff score to be a national merit semifinalist. The best I could find was a reply that it was 217. Could someone please send a link or just confirmation that this number is correct?
It would help me out a bunch and I could stop worrying. Thanks in advance!

From pg 28 of 'PSAT results are in' thread, Texas cutoff was 216 the last two years.

I know I'm one of those people that's been quoting that list at every possible opportunity, but I'm beginning to think that the list isn't correct. For example, I know people that got NMSF with a 213 in MN and the list says it was 215...

Thanks for the replies, I really do appreciate it.

I scored a 219, so Im hoping that I'll make the cut!

Onion, I'd feel pretty good. Texas hasn't shifted much in the last 5 years and a 219 is just fine based on that history.

Can anyone please advise on the PA. cutoff for last year or two? I received a 217 this year and was hoping that would place me as a semi-finalist. Thank you all very much. Dana

Pennsylvania's cutoff has been 215 the past two years.

Dear Fireflyscout: Thank you very much for the information. I hope that the statistic is the same for this year. Dana

for schedule and historical cutoff info, particularly post #202.

Re the Minnesota question earlier in this thread, the MN cutoff dropped from 215 to 213 last year, according to the links in that post. Pretty rare, but it does happen once in a while...
