So I'm writing a PSAT just for kicks within the next year or so. What should I know in advance that they're not going to tell me?

If it helps, I'm an eleventh grade student in an Albertan High School. It's pretty big, and I'm currently enrolled in Full AP (Physics, Bio, Chem, Computer Science, English, Social, Math + Calculus next year)

You’re in the eleventh grade and taking the PSAT just for kicks…? I’m assuming writing the PSAT actually means taking it btw. If you’re not going for National Merit, it’s probably better for you to prep for the actual SAT. I barely made the minimum qualifications (210 in Arizona) and on the actual SAT I got 1960. Besides, you’re in full AP. That’s a ton of reading to do for classes and it would amaze me if you actually had time to study for PSAT. I think the PSAT deserves at least a decent amount of time put into it for a score good enough for the national merit.
