PSATs vs. SATs

My question is, do people tend to do better (comparatively) on the PSAT than on the SAT, or vice versa?

people tend to do better on the sat

I've seen it both ways. I personally did much better on the SATs, but it was more of a matter of me just calming down than the tests, I took the SATs totally relaxed and comfortable.

Interesting, I'd think people would usually do worse on the SATs because it's longer, more stressful, etc.

I did A LOT better on the psats than the sats (227 and 2090)
but i also have a very short attention span so that might have had something to do with it :)

I did better on the SAT than the PSAT, but that could be because I prepared much more for the SAT. But I've definitely heard of situations where it goes both ways.

I'm nervousss! I hope I do better

My s's scores on the math and Cr. Reading added up to an IDENTICAL score (math was higher on PSAT, Cr. reading was higher on SAT 151 - 1510). The writing was much higher on the SAT, so his SAT was higher than his PSAT (2290 vs 222)-

I did better on my SATs than my PSATs.. it might be because I actually tried studying. :S (196 -> 2190)
