PSEO Chance and Tips?

So I've been wondering, has anyone had experience with UMN PSEO program? I'm a sophomore so I was wondering if anyone has taking/taken PSEO because I'm considering whether or not to apply for it, or if I even have a chance.

I didn't do so hot freshman year:

First Semester-

Honors Geometry:C-
Honors Civics: B-
Phy. Ed. : A+
Spanish 1: B
CP Biology: B
Honors English: B

Then I decided maybe to do a little better--

Second Semester-

Honors Geometry: C+
Honors Civics: A
Phy. Ed.: A
Spanish 1: B+
CP Biology: B+
Honors English: B+

And so during my summer break after my first taste of high school, I was very disappointed I ended with 3 B+'s, it was 88-89 for all 3 which was a real bummer because I was so close sigh anyways my anticipated Semester 1 grades as a sophomore is:

AP World History: A
Honors Algebra 2: B or B-
CP Chemistry: A-
Spanish 2: A
Honors English: A
Photography: A+

Current GPA: 3.5

Just to point out the obvious, I suck at math.

Some background information about:

I'm a minority (Tibetan) and immigrated from India when I was 4. Both of my parents are immigrants as well. My parents adopted a kid about 3 years ago (don't know if this helps at all or whatnot). I play tennis in the fall and am apart of Student Government in my school. I will be the first to go to college in my family.

Currently don't have a job due to strict parents.

So, I'm just wondering if anyone would like to give me a chance percentage, I won't be upset so give it to me straight. I could just take CIS but I would love the opportunity for PSEO.

Extra Questions:

If I wanted to get accepted to the UMN, should I participate in more EC activities?

And if anyone has experience with PSEO, please do tell how hard it was in your perspective.

Thanks so much! (:

bump ^^ anyone

There are two programs. Distance learning and on campus.

The distance learning option is much easier to get into. You take classes online and can only choose from those classes. if you like online, this is a good option.

On campus PSEO is quite competitive with an average admitted GPA of 3.7. Applications are due in april.

If you cant get in at U of M I would still recommend PSEO at another school. There are many in the twin cities to choose from.

The most important factor for admission at U of M (and most other schools) is taking tough classes (like PSEO) and getting good grades in them, mostly As. U of M is also looking for an ACT score somewhere in the upper 20s. GL.
