do tell....

is it that thing from playstation where its like a gameboy...if it is i saw one at the sony store but id rather stick with my xbox :)

yes it is, standford..

Nintendo's DS or PSP? Which is better?
Hmm, I have neither; I hardly play video games nowadays..

PSP. Hands down.

if you have one (which I don't) be sure to get PSPVideo9 (http://www.pspvideo9.com/) (free) to convert movie files . . .

my friend has one, and im usually just sort of like, oh that's cool keith, but this time I was really just floored. The graphics are so good for such a small screen--I'm not like gamer, so I guess take what I say with a pinch of salt, but yeah, the casing to protect the mini cd's and stuff, the music and video capabilities, and yeah wow, the graphics. I was very impressed.

omg i want a psp ! i know like 3 people that have one... i want one too

PSP, who's got one and how is it?!?!?

I don't have one, but I spent about two hours playing my friend's, and he has wipeout pure and metal gear acid.

Wipeout pure isn't as good as Wipeout XL, but its decent, and metal gear acid is a good game (at least, from what I played). The graphics are a bit underwhelming, at best first generation dreamcast quality. Seeing the specs on that thing, I thought they would be crunking out Naomi-quality visuals on the launch games, but, I guess not.

The speakers are really nice for something this small, crushing the GBA and NDS, and the screen is SEX defined onto a handheld. This, I cannot stress enough, the SCREEN is seriously amazing.

It seems a bit fragile, and there are loading times, but seeing this is sony, its not unusual for their first generation models to kind of suck. There doesn't really seem to be any use for it other than to play games, I mean, I'm not going to go out and buy UMD movies for it, and the iPod is a better mp3 player.

At any rate, if you're looking for a handheld that does many in one, this is the thing for you. If you're looking for innovation and artistry in gaming, then the Nintendo DS is for you. If you're looking for a handheld purely for the sake of gaming, then I suggest you forget this and go out and buy a gamepark 32, a gamers handheld.

my little advice is to get the japanese version.

I think it's overrated. Tries to do to much and be something its not.
