Hi guys, one of the questions for PSU’s 7 year accelerated is “Write a personal statement indicating why you want to be a physician, why you want an accelerated program, and why you’ve selected this Penn State/Jefferson program.”

Can I use my “Why medicine?” essay that I’ve been using for different schools for this? Would it count as a personal statement?

I can’t say specifically yes or no because I don’t know for sure. I do know that this program is extremely extremely competitive, and to have the best chance, you should a very focused essay on the given topic.

Sounds like a decent basis, at least? You’d have to edit it to make sure it answers all three questions.
