<p>do you mean they aren't required or they won't accept them? do most people give a teacher rec along with the application?</p>
<p>Your sister got in with a 1000-something? I know in-staters who haven't gotten in with that kind of score. (I'm from PA).</p>
<p>I'd suggest retaking the SATs; a little studying can go a long way (easier said than done, I didn't do it, haha.)</p>
