I won’t lie, I did not read that whole thing (I stopped after your class rank). The biggest issue I see is that your stats put you on the 25th percentile end of accepted students (though your ACT is below the 25th percentile). I would say right now it is a low reach. If you selected the options that you were willing to begin in the summer or start at a different campus I think your chances will improve a good bit.

Reach although you have ECs like people applying for “reach-for-anyone” schools…

Thank you, every opinion counts.
I have summer session selected currently

Your ECs are really great! Penn states admissions site says that the GPA accounts for two-thirds of their decision. The middle 50% of their accepted applicants for university park have a GPA of 3.52-3.97. So your GPA is close, and your ECs will probably help make PSU a match. However, your ACTs are a little lower than their midrange (26-30) so idk I guess high match

Thanks for your input.
I feel my personal statement is very interesting, attention grabbing and inspiring to say the least. (Personal statement topic listed above)

Did you choose an alternate branch campus? I have two sons at PSU UP and your stats look a little low, to me, for UP. Penn State does not look at your ECs or your personal statement – they may not even read them. It is pretty much all about your stats :frowning: so you need to rely on those, and hope any statement is read at all. Choosing summer makes your chances better, choosing an alternate as well as UP makes your chances better (and you are guaranteed to transfer in as a junior). You may not hear anything until midNov or even January! Don’t panic!

Yes I have abington chosen as my starting alternate. I’m praying my activities list, legacy, and my outstanding personal statement will help persuade them, my counselor said since i’m on the border, they’re more likely to read those two to aid them in a decision.

Then again I did choose summer session.
