<p>I'm currently a psychology major at UCI but am taking the science classes I need in order to prepare for med school. Currently I'm taking bio 94 at a nearby CC. Will it count? I've heard that Bio Sci students cannot take bio classes outside of UCI, but will I be okay since I'm not a Bio major? Insight is greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>From what I understand, it sounds like it’s allowed. The issue is mainly for Bio majors, since your department usually would want you to finish your pre-requisites at UCI or some other university and not CC. I don’t know about what med schools think, since I hear from some people that it’s okay and others that it’s not so good. In any case, at least it’s just Bio 94 (ecology) and not something like 98 (biochem) or 99 (molecular bio).</p>
