<p>Psychology majors don't seem to have the same number of internships offered to business majors or other similar concentrations. Sometimes you will see human resourse positions offered or counseling in camps, etc. but not very much.
My daughter was told by her professors to work anywhere to get the money she needs to pay her tuition and volunteer in jobs that would be useful to her later. You can work with the disinfranchised, the poor, teaching handicapped people skills, as a volunteer but not as a paid worker for a summer.
Does anyone have any other tips for Psychololgy majors for get experience in their field when a regular internship might not be available?</p>

<p>Right now, school psychology or clinical psychology studying autism and related issues. I think school psychology dominates though and the most accessible with finances, etc.</p>
